Cocoerev1 | 3rd | COCOA REVOLUTION | On the feedback box Cocoa Revolution as not being given I have been to the office of the reform more than 4 times I was always told that the box is not on ground | The Cocoa revolution in it's innovation acquired 2000 hectares of land at Ijugbere model cocoa in Owo local Government of Ondo State and at present the Management staff of Cocoa Revolution had been able to locate 2000 hectares of plot to allottees farmers with 1000 of plantain suckers each on their plot also 1000 hybrids seed of cocoa each to the allottees farmers and the grading of the roads from owo to the Ijugbere farms is on going with the help of Mr Governor in other to see that Info State is back to his glory of the best coacoa state in Nigeria and in the world and the staff of Cocoa Revolution has been cooperating with the Management Staff even during Covid 19 pandemic they were all coming to the field and this has greatly increased the output of Cocoa in the nursery of the cocoa hybrids and also the Cocoa Revolution staff are 2orking daily to see that the vision and mission of Mr Governor come to reality | The major problem the office is facing is on Fulani herdsmen that has been destroying the plantain suckers planted on the farm and the case has been reported to the people concerned even the office wrote a letter to the head of the Mayatte Allah and copy given to the authority concerned Also of recent the road had been in danger to the users I mean the Ijugbere road as some of the Allottees farmers were kidnapped along that road and later released after 8 days and this had brought a lot of set back as people are now afraid to go to the farm and the office had written a letter to the security agent mostly the Amotekun and they promised to be of help to the office by beefing up security any time they are going to be the farm at Ijugbere. | Yes the change ambassador for AISA and myself had been able to carryout cleaning up the office and the environment and able to open a staff register book for the staff to sign and this had make it possible for the staff of Cocoa Revolution to be regular in the office. | 09/11/2020 09:07 AM | |

The office also serves as the state implementation unit for the Social Investment Programme (SIP) i.e the National Home Grown School Feeding Program for pupils from primaries 1 to 3 in public schools. The N-Power program for the unemployed graduates in Health, Education and Agricultural related courses. Conditional Cash Transfer program for the elderly and the vulnerable. The P&IGR office coordinates all the aforementioned programs in towards their successful implementation in Ondo State under the focal person who also serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor while the Permanent Secretary serves as the Accounting Officer with 2 Directors Manning the 2 departments ie Programmes and department of Finance & Administration |
There were committees being put in place for each of the programs as this has really helped in dealing with various challenges of each of the Programmes | The various projects and programmes target people of the rural communities/settlements, lack of proper understanding of the need on their part to see the projects as theirs, hereby guiding the projects from vandals and community thieves. Lack of education on the part of the youths to key into the various programs for proper job engagement. |
