Mr. Festus Adewale Omomowo is a seasoned Administrative Officer, with over 20 years of experience. He is currently the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Public Service Reform and Development (DPSRD), otherwise called the Reform Office.
Omomowo is a trained Personnel Psychologist. He joined the Civil Service of Ondo State in 1998 and has since occupied several positions in various Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the Civil Service. Some of them include: State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Service Matters Department, Ministry of Health, Ondo State Emergency Medical Agency (ODEMSA), Scholarship Board, University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH), among others. Until his deployment as Permanent Secretary, Reform Office, He was the Director, Finance and Administration, Ministry of Land and Housing.
Mr. Omomowo is a recipient of several awards, including Grand Order of Education. He also belongs to notable professional bodies, such as Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), and the Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (CIPAN).
Omomowo is a strong believer in the rules of orderliness and equity, which are major ingredients in any reform process.
