Pastor Kayode Ogundele, FCIPM (Head of Service)
Kayode Olaniyi Ogundele holds his first and second degrees from the Premier University, University of Ibadan (UI) in Guidance and Counselling and Personnel Psychology. He is currently working on his PhD programme in Public Policy and Administration at Walden University, United States of America.
He commenced his Civil Service Career in 1994 as an Administrative Officer II in the Ministry of Education. His Civil Service career spans various Ministries, Departments and Agencies with records of remarkable achievement. Mr. Ogundele has been widely recognized as a dedicated and forthright officer who demonstrates proven managerial and administrative competence.
Kayode Ogundele served as Secretary and Chairman of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), He rose through the rung of the ladder of the Institute to the top having started as student member to become fellow and even emerged as the first Fellow of CIPM, Ondo State Branch.
He is also a Fellow Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (CIPAN) and member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Nigerian Council for Management Development, among others.
Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu (Secretary to State Government)
Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu is an astute Public Sector practitioner whose experience spans decades, most especially in the Education sector. With sterling academic records in Sociology and Law, where she possesses first and second degrees, she has had an indelible mark on the Ondo State Public Sector since the beginning of the 4th Republic.
She was appointed Commissioner for Education and was later deployed to the Ministry of Women Affairs as Commissioner when power was handed over to democratically elected government in Nigeria. She thereafter joined politics.
Being an astute and grassroots politician, Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu was called upon again to serve the people of the State as the Chairman, Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) under the erstwhile administration of Dr. Olusegun Agagu. She was also at various time the Director, Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, Delta State, Federal Commissioner, Public Complaint Commission, Akure, Ondo State. She was again appointed to have a second stint as the Chairman, Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB) by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN.
On March 22, 2021, she was appointed the Secretary to the State Government. Princess Oladunni Odu is a trail blazer and a recipient of many awards, amongst which is Ondo State Female Role Model Award.
Mr. Dare Aragbaiye (SA Union Matters and Special Duties)
Mr. Oluwadare Aragbaiye is a seasoned Administrator with over 35 years’ experience in the Public Service. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He also obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration at the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
He rose through the ranks and was appointed Permanent Secretary in year 2012 by the immediate past Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and was later appointed Head of Service in year 2019 by the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu, SAN. He retired from the State Civil Service in March 2021. Shortly after his retirement, he was appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties.
Mr. Aragbaiye has attended several training/capacity building programmes within and outside Nigeria. He is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and the Chartered Institute of Public Administrator of Nigeria (CIPAN).
Mr. Aragbaiye is a member of the State Tenders Board and also a Board member of the Ondo State Bureau of Public Procurement.
Mr. Babajide Akeredolu (DG, PPIMU)
Babajide Akeredolu is a technical consultant at Worley Nigeria Limited (Formerly Worley Parsons) and cofounder of Isisae Consulting with over 8 years of experience in non-conventional Energy resource development. His consulting interests are focused on Social Impact Investment and advisory on the effective adoption of the 4th industrial revolution in developing countries. His efforts to driving adoption and localization of innovative technologies led him to cofound the Nigeria Flying Labs Southwest Hub, a member of a 38-country network of hubs dedicated to accelerating the positive impact of local aid, health, development and environmental solutions locally.
Akeredolu Studied Chemical Engineering (minors in Business and Environmental Engineering) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he was honoured to be inducted to the Omega Chi Epsilon Chemical Engineering Honors Society and Phi Eta Sigma Engineering Honors Society. He was also the President of the African Student Association and head Photographer of the University. Akeredolu moved on to bag a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining at the prestigious Colorado School of Mines where he published multiple peer-reviewed research papers on the characterization of heavy crude oil.
