Power, particularly electricity supply has over the years asserted itself as the main driver of industrialization. First-hand experiences and available records have shown that the ultimate performance of any country’s economy largely depend on the availability and sustainability of power.


Public and private firms largely depend on power to thrive and sustainable power supply guarantees industrialization and economic growth, leading to employment generation, reduction of poverty, manpower development, enhancement of self-reliance and stimulation of growth in other sectors of the economy. As the world grows, in both wealth and population, the
demand for power increases.
